The 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Curriculum:

Shatkarma
Shatkarma

In the module, the students will undergo practical sessions of Yogic Cleansing Techniques or Shat Kriyas, such as Jal Neeti, Sutra Neeti, and Kujal.

Asana Class
Asana Class

This module will cover the different postures of Hatha Yoga and the various series in the Ashtanga Yoga. Students will learn the basics of Surya Namaskara, along with the standing, kneeling, sitting, lying, supine and inversion series of Asana.

Philosophy
Philosophy

This section covers the Philosophical and Literature part of Yoga through studies of Yoga Sutras, Patanjali, Vedas, and other ancient texts. This part of the module helps deepen and widen the knowledge of Yoga, along with the relevance of the Yogic lifestyle in today’s world.

Anatomy
Anatomy

This part of the curriculum will cover the study of Human Anatomy and the Organ systems. The brief study of Human Physiology will allow the students to better relate the function of Asanas with the Human body.

Meditation and Pranayama
Meditation and Pranayama

This module explains the various techniques of Meditation and Pranayama, along with its implementation. Students will also get familiar with the theory and ideas behind them.

Teaching Methodology/Art of Teaching
Teaching Methodology/Art of Teaching

During this module, students would be given theoretical and practical knowledge to enhance their teaching skills. This section would cover the tips for interactive teaching, making lesson plans, and making modifications in teaching pattern according to different kinds of learners.

Practicum
Practicum

Practical sessions allow the students to observe the lead instructor and offer feedback regarding the teaching style.
